On November 15, HISA conducted its second virtual Town Hall. Following the inaugural Town Hall in September focused on answering racing participants’ questions about HISA’s Anti-Doping and Medication Control (ADMC) Program, HISA and HIWU leadership hosted a second Town Hall on the same topic to provide another opportunity to answer key questions. HISA CEO Lisa Lazarus, Horseracing & Integrity Welfare Unit (HIWU) Executive Director Ben Mosier, and HIWU Chief of Science Dr. Mary Scollay took questions on topics ranging from recent proposed changes to HISA’s ADMC rules, to the Atypical Findings Policy, to the origins of HISA’s partnership with Drug Free Sport International.
You can find a replay of the Town Hall below. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for the announcement of HISA’s next Town Hall topic, date, and time. Ideas, questions or comments about HISA Town Halls can be sent to Mackenzie Kirker-Head at Mackenzie.KirkerHead@hisaus.org.
