HISA ADMC Rule 4222 states:

            Rule 4222. M5 Intra-articular injections

Intra-articular injections are prohibited on Race Day; within 14 days prior to Post-Time; and within 7 days prior to any Timed and Reported Workout.

Until July 15, 2023, the Rule 4222 prohibition of intra-articular injections within 7 days prior to any Timed and Reported Workout shall be enforced only against the Covered Horse, by imposing a period of ineligibility upon the Covered Horse of 30 days. The remaining prohibitions in Rule 4222, concerning Race Day and the 14 days prior to Post-Time, shall continue to be enforced.
