Last week, HISA and the Jockeys’ Guild co-hosted the first Jockey Health and Wellness DC fly-in. We welcomed participants from across the United States to gather in the nation’s Capital for conversations on the physical and mental well-being of jockeys at a critical time in horse racing. Participants had the opportunity to meet with their Congressional representatives to express both their love for racing and the unique circumstances they face as athletes and family members in a fast-paced industry.
