Tucker Pettigrew is HISA’s Communications Manager, where he creates written and visual content to help explain the Authority’s work and connect with racing participants, fans and the media. He joined HISA in May 2024 as Communications Coordinator and has since supported efforts to broaden awareness and understanding of HISA across the industry.
He works closely with teams throughout HISA to share information about the organization’s programs and initiatives, including press releases, digital and website content, graphic design, data visualization and the HISA Internship Program. His work is guided by a focus on clear communication and HISA’s commitment to equine and rider safety.
Pettigrew is a two-time graduate of Clemson University (B.A. in Communications, 2018; M.B.A., 2020). Prior to HISA, he served as Communications Coordinator for the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency in Colorado Springs. He has also worked with Clemson Athletics since 2017 and currently serves as a freelance statistical consultant for the football program. A native of Beaufort, South Carolina, he brings experience across sports, communications and regulatory work to his role at HISA.
