Bethany Erb

As the Director of Public Affairs for HISA, Erb oversees the organization's interactions with policymakers and stakeholders nationwide, including the Federal Trade Commission and advocacy groups within and beyond horseracing. Erb brings 20 years of Washington, DC policy and political experience to HISA. Prior to her role at HISA, Erb served as the Director of Government Affairs at Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever, where she led national advocacy, policy, and communications efforts. Erb has also had roles at U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation, and the Land Trust Alliance. Erb grew up on a cattle ranch in southwest Montana and graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in agribusiness. She currently resides in northern Virginia with her family.
