Robbins is the executive vice president of racing and industry relations at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club where he leads a crew of more than 80 racing department staff. Robbins, a member of one of California's great racing families, has been at Del Mar for more than 40 years. He also chairs the North American Ratings Committee and the Breeders’ Cup Racing Directors/Secretaries Panel. Additionally, Robbins is a member of the American Graded Stakes Committee, an advisor to the North American International Catalogue Standards Committee and the U. S. representative to the Longines World’s Best Racehorse Rankings Committee.
