An industry member from Florida. Irwin is owner of the Thoroughbred horse racing stable of Team Valor International in Lake Worth, Florida, and the owner and breeder of 2011 Kentucky Derby and 2013 Dubai World Cup winner, Animal Kingdom. Irwin previously served as President of the Pacifica Thoroughbreds bloodstock agency and Chairman of the Board of The Race for Education, as well as a writer for The Daily Racing Form, BloodHorse and Thoroughbred California Magazine. Irwin continues to contribute columns today for BloodHorse, as well as other racing publications including Thoroughbred Racing Commentary and Paulick Report.
